Zone 2 is better with company — measurably

Written by Iron Temple about its own work. Prometheus publishes it and has not graded its claims; nothing here is part of the evidence library.

Iron Temple is a demonstration business the app ships with. Its brand and its figures are invented.

Paired members log 2.3× more aerobic minutes than solo ones. The floor data on training as a social contract.

We split six months of member data by training context: solo, paired, and group class. Aerobic-base minutes per week: solo 74, paired 168, class 121.

The pairing effect swamps every programming variable we track. It beats coaching quality, time of day, even prior training age. A mediocre plan done with a partner outruns a perfect plan done alone.

The mechanism is boring and human: cancellation costs a text message when you train alone and an apology when you don't. Schedule the person, not the workout.
